Points are awarded for all participating 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U AAU juniors tournaments. The amount of points awarded at each event will be determined by combining our "Base Point Scale" with any approved multipliers for the event. Every event will be subject to the "Team Participation Multiplier" detailed on the website
Points are awarded to 1st through 9th place for each event. All players who finish outside of 9th place will receive 5 points for participating in the event. Points are cumulative and rankings are calculated by the sum of all points earned within the previous 365 days.

New Policy effective April 24, 2015, no credits will be issued for any missed tournaments. No transfers are allowed from one tournament to another. A request for a refund, in the form of a check or credited back to the credit card, will be issued one week after the event has passed with a $10 processing fee, if the team notifies the tournament director prior to noon, the day before the event. This will still allow for an alternative entry to take place.
No refunds will be processed if the notification takes place after noon prior to the start of the event or if the registration closes earlier, then that becomes the determination date. (National events have earlier close dates/times). The tournament director has the authority to adjust format, combine age groups or cancel a tournament, if necessary. Teams will receive a full refund or a credit towards another event, if requested due to cancellation.
WEST COAST AAU JUNIOR OLYMPIC GAMES BIDS:
Southern Pacific AAU events which earn bids start after January 1, 2019 and earn three bids for most events and four for Grand Prix, District, Regional and Super Regional events for the West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games. National events earn eight bids. A minimum amount of teams are required in each division in order for bids to be awarded according to national rules and policies. All local AAU tournaments from March - July earn bids into the West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games. Registration Deadline: Mon., July 16 at 10:00 PM
2018 AAU/ISF WEST COAST FALL TOURNAMENT SERIES
The AAU West Coast Office and the Southern Pacific Volleyball Committee will host the Fall Tournament Series in August through December (including junior tournaments part of the Crafter's Tour) and will serve as qualifying and seeding events into the AAU/ISF National Qualifier on Dec. 9-10. The age groups utilize a different calendar year eligibility rather than the traditional September 1 cut off date. Categories are Select (open to athletes from any school) and School (must be from the same school).
2018 AAU/ISF GIRLS' NATIONAL TRIALS
Dec. 9-10 - AAU/ISF Girls' National Trials: The Pier, Hermosa Beach - Girls U18 - Athletes born in 2001-2002. U16 - Athletes from the same school born in 2003-2004 and U14 - Athletes born in 2005-2006. This event qualifies teams to the 2019 ISF World Schools Championships in Italy. The U14 Girls' Trials are scheduled to be held with the AAU Boys' Nationals in October.
VOLLEY OC SERIES EVENTS:
Orange County Volley events in Huntington Beach are AAU licensed preliminary and earn bids (two) into the West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games beginning in 2018.
